Sunday Worship Services
Join us every Sunday morning for Sunday School, uplifting worship and deep Biblical sermons lead by Pastor John Wylie. We also have an evening prayer service we would love for you to be a part of. Sunday School - 9:45 AM Worship Service - 10:50 AM Prayer Service - 5:00 PM
Wednesday Night Fellowship
We meet every Wednesday night at 5:30 PM we share a meal, enter a time of worship, then continue with Bible studies. There are studies for everyone, men, women, youth, kids, and nursery.
The Storehouse
A storehouse ministry that provides diapers and wipes for babies, toddlers, and adults as well as feminine hygiene products to those in need. Open at the church the third Saturday of every month from 9:00-11:00 Check out our Facebook page for more information.
JOY (Just Older Youth)
Join us for JOY, this is an "Older" youth group of seniors who meets regularly to fellowship together.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ
Staff
John Wylie
Pastor
John Wylie was raised in West Texas and has faithfully served in pastoral ministry in Oklahoma for nearly 27 years. Since October 2022, he has been the pastor of Sunray, where he continues his lifelong passion for preaching God’s Word and pointing people to the central figure of Scripture—Jesus Christ. John has been married to his wife, Rhonda, since June of 1990. Together they have been blessed with three grown daughters and eleven grandchildren, who bring great joy to their lives. A “certified coffee snob,” John also enjoys relaxing with old movies, especially classic westerns and WWII films. His heart for ministry is rooted in a deep love for the Bible and a desire to help others see Christ clearly in every page of it. He studied at Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, Texas; Oklahoma Missionary Baptist Seminary in Marlow, Oklahoma; and Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. He earned his Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is also a graduate of Faith Bible Institute.
